This just might be my favorite Five inch Toothpick. Really nice green smooth bone, nice bolsters, excellent blade geometry and the reverse frosted blade etch ain't bad either.

I like the SMKW deck of cards, too!

More or less., Rusty.  The Deadman's hand Hickok legend should be all clubs and spades. I opted for a little color.

Other hands have also been known as the Deadman's hand including a Full House with Jacks & tens or Jacks & Sevens

Of  course according to one historian, Hickok's hand was retrieved by one Niel Christie and the cards in the hand were the Ace of Diamond, the Ace of Clubs, both black eights, and the Queen of Hearts.

Another source claims it to be all black cards,  Aces & Eights and the Queen of Clubs as the kick.

Either way, it is the most famous of card hand of legend.  In the hand above its matching hearts and spades with a hidden joker in the hole.  I'd go all in with any of those hand.

Nice toothpick and display.  Isn't aces & eights the dead man's hand?
