Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I've been wanting to get a Spyderco Persian for quite some time. Glad that I waited; the one shown in this photo is a Sprint Run Ed Schempp 2010 edition.

This knife features a smorgasbord of lines! The blade shape clearly drives the name of the knife...while the handle's curved design reinforces it. Check out the grind lines on the blade. It seems to just "work" on this particular design. The fit and finish on this knife is really solid (by the way; the knife weighs a ton!). Spyderco's Japanese Manufacturing did quite a job on this blade! One of the particularly interesting things about this knife is that everything is SMOOTH. Everywhere. Even the blade's spine goes sans jimping (which I think is a design faux paux).

All in all, a great addition to the collection!

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
