This is my Benchmade Mini Barrage 585 (the little brother to the Barrage 580). Sometimes, when a knife design "shrinks" in size, it doesn't work so well. That, however, isn't the case with the Mini Barrage. Nutnfancy describes it as a "tank"...and I must concur. This little knife is one burly mini slicer. And don't let the term "mini" fool you. The blade is 2 15/16" long...and wider than knives a third again longer. If your EDC tasks "push" the limits of most "smaller blades, this bud's for you! Quality and materials are just what we've all come to expect from Benchmade..."superior". Fit and finish is WONDERFUL.
