The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Shown here is a knife that I initially had mixed feelings about; the Boker Mosier small fixed blade knife. If you look closely, you'll see that the overall aesthetic of the knife, while interesting, is something whose "beauty" is very subjective. Originally, I considered this kind of an ugly knife...but it's machined micarta handle scales kept drawing me in. So I bought it. Now that I own it, I have to say that I REALLY LIKE IT. This little bugger feels really, really good in the hand. And...oddly, I no longer consider the knife "ugly". Past that, the general quality of the knife is quite good...particularly for the price. If you are looking for an affordable small fixed-blade knife, I encourage you to check this one out. Odd looking? You bet. Effective? You bet. Grows on you? Well...it certainly did me!
