Though Boker is a production knife company, some of their blades are particularly outstanding. Shown here is one such knife; the Boker Plus Valkyrie. Inspired by the Viet Nam era Bowie knife, this blade features a beautifully shaped 440C clip point blade, nicely sculpted micarta handles scales with small rose inlays. When I first took this out of the box, I was quite impressed. Only two blemishes in the micarta keep it from being "flawless" and even then, it is a wonderfully beautiful knife. Though it is a rather big blade...it is the fastest feeling knife in my collection. The balance is such that the knife feels "alive" in your hand. Absolutely remarkable!
