So...a friend of mine recently got me into Case's Trapper Lock series of knives. I have to admit that they really ring my bell. I love the hybridization of old-school slip-joint materials and platform and new-school thumb-studs and liner-locks. And the quality on this particular knife is very good. Everything fits "just right" and the knife is super-smooth to open and close. The liner-lock locks up perfectly. The Chestnut jigged bone scales are wonderfully machines and fit the bolsters perfectly. I just have one mild complaint with this knife; I wish Case would go back to pinning the shields on their knives.
