Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

this is another one of my carver knives that i made! i used a blade out of a folding knife that i got a good deal from on ebay. the handle material is deer leg bone. and i used white, and red spacers, with black plexiglass. the white buttcap is pearl acrylic. wish i had a clearer pic. the blade is 2" long and the total length is 5". fits great in your hand, and sells for $20. check out my other pics for great knives!! leave a comment!

well J.J. i dont like admitting it but this knife was an experiment that FAILED. live and learn, you know? as a new knife maker i am always trying new stuff. this idea was not one of my good ones. the tang went about a 1/4" past the white spacer, and when i was whittling with it, that is where it broke. there wasnt enough tang in the handle, and not enough glue for the tang. lesson learned!

Jeff,
How much "tang" is inside the handle? Did you add anything there?

That's a beauty, Jeff.
I'm gonna have to make a list and set some strict priorities...
