CRK Umnumzaan 3
Well, my fine knife-oriented friends...I've finally added a Chris Reeve Knives model to my collection; the Umnumzaan shown in this photo. Candidly, this is the most amazing production semi-custom knife that I've ever held. Truly top-shelf materials with stonewashed S30V blade steel and carefully machines titanium liners....The workmanship is ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. Truly an unbelievably GREAT knife! The reputation that Chris Reeve Knives have is well deserved! Until you hold one, it is hard to explain just how nice a knife this is. Yes...it's expensive...but no more so than a Strider...and while I really like my Strider, it isn't quite on par with the CRK Umnumzaan.

12/30/09: Quick update on this knife. It is ABSOLUTELY one of the very coolest knives I've ever owned, used, fondled, handled and delighted in. Truly worth every hard-earned penny! I AM completely...TOTALLY...blown away by this knife. Amazing! And I stand by my earlier comments about the comparison to Strider; the CRK Umnumzaan is a nicer knife than my Strider SNG. It just simply is...and that is saying something since the Strider is a superb knife!!!!
