Both of these are to be re-bladed using some Damascus blanks from Grand Leavitt at Snake River knives. It will be a couple of weeks before I get those.

Will have a "Spanish Lace" damascus blade by the of next week. Will think long and hard about a proper wood handle to go with it before starting assembly. Maybe Olivewood or the old standby Cocobolo.

I can't wait to see what I come up with either! There is definitely going to be some welding, need to attach the handle to something.

The Damascus blades will be ready for install as soon as they arrive. The existing blades will be re-tasked into small fixed blades, as they were heavily used during their lives on these knives.

That was a good deal to get them both for that price. The handles look to be in pretty nice condition. And even the blades could be salvaged in their present condition. Will you have to shape the Damascus blanks yourself or have they already been ground and shaped to fit a 110 handle? Sounds like a fun project for someone like yourself who has all of the necessary equipment at their disposal.
