Case Trapper with Mother of Pearl , Blood Turquise Web and Jet Onyx

Custom ordered Knife.. The customer picked the materials.. one color on each side of the center piece. I File worked the Center Band. Adds a nice touch I think.

I agree that an ugly knife can be made if certain artistic principles are not observed.

I think that you achieved a very nice balance with this piece, Garett.

Thanks Ron. It made me nervous that the customer wanted a different material on each side of the center so I tried to compensate by making a nicer centerband. I would like to say there's not much you can do to ugly up a knife but I know that's not true. Certain color mixes will do it and adding pieces next to each other without a spacer like yellow horse sometimes does.

Kudos, mate!
