I can think of three movies that Chuckj Conners was in. One was a western called (I think) The Big Country with Gregory Peck and Charlton Heston. Another was comedy with Doris Day and James Garner. In the movie Doris was married to James Garner. Her and Chuck were shipwrecked and stranded on a deserted island for several years. In the meantime James married someone else thinking his wife was dead. But Doris and Chuck were rescued. The rest of the movie they try to resolve the situation rather comically. The third one was a western call Branded (again not sure of the title). He was a trapper I believe. In the beginning some men catch him and brand him on the stomach. He then goes after the ones who did it to him.
Wasn't Conners a pro baseball player before he became an actor?
I think he may be dead by now. I haven't heard anything about him in years. Johnny Crawford never did much after The Rifleman. He had a small part in a John Wayne movie (I believe it was Eldorado) but that is all I am aware of after The Rifleman.
