The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I just love Emerson knives. To me, the second that I pick one up, I can feel it's quality...I can feel the commitment of the man that designed the knife and directed it's manufacture. I have a variety of Emerson knives...most of which have the basic black G10 handles. In 2009, I become positively entranced by the new stonewashed finish option. Well, being that it's 2010, when I happened upon a little different Emerson configuration, I just had to have it.
Shown here is my new CQC7B with tan G10 handle scales and a brilliantly done stonewashed blade. This knife is mind-blowing in it's quality. It opens smoother than all my other Emerson knives...with the sole exception of my full-size Commander. While this blade doesn't have the famous Wave feature, it is still smoking hot! I dig those tan G10 handle scales...and check out the finish on the thumb disc! Major coolness!
Yet once again, I must thank Mr. Emerson for producing such an absolutely reliable tool.
