About a year and a half ago I posted the pic on the right. It was assembled without the bail or the shroud cutter and I choose Tortoise Shell Acrylic for the handles. Not your run of the mill MC-1

Brings back memories. The original version-orange knife-was what I was issued as a flight crew member about 50 years ago. At survival school in Washington state we made tents out of parachutes. The knife was stored in small pocket on the left outside leg of the flight suit with a cord attached if it fell out.
