The temperatures in the south are nice, but I don't miss the humidity. I think we maxed out at 90 degrees today.

Yesterday here in North Alabama it was 80.  Tonight there is the possibility of frost.

Ron, you crack me up. But we So Cal residents shouldn't flaunt the fact that it was 83 degrees yesterday, and the un-official state plant is Aloe Vera for sunburns.

That's nuthin'!!!

It got so cold here in Southern California this evening I "almost" wore socks with my sandals! Brrr! But I manned up and braved the cold without them. (See photographic evidence below)

In the twenty five years I've lived in Alabama, we have had three of what I call significant snow storms.  Down here if they are predicting an inch of snow they put out a winter storm warning and the store shelves are stripped bare of bread, milk, and toilet paper.
