This is the lesser expensive model CA 640045 R Scout knife. The more expensive 45 pattern scout is the 6445. The knife was made under contract by Camillus. When Camillus closed, Case stopped making full sized scout/utility knives. From what I understand, Case never held a contract to make Official Boy Scout knives. In recent years, however, they have made knives that have been licensed to produce products bearing the BSA trademark.
