I've gotta hand it to the folks at Canal Street Cutlery; they make some rather exquisite knives!

The new addition shown in this photo was purchased from Red Hill Cutlery (a Canal dealer). It's an "exclusive" stockman type design with the black corn cob handle texture.

This is a limited edition run...and, fortunately for me, I got one of the low numbers (6). The fit and finish on this knife is superb. Everything...quite literally...about this pocket knife is brilliantly executed! This is the kind of knife that Case no longer knows how to make!

I really like the very traditional design and feel of this knife. I also am quite fond of the packaging artwork that Canal Street Cutlery puts on their boxes and paperwork. Yeah...it's kind of nostalgia and kind of something else. I'm certainly not remotely old enough to have been living when this kind of artwork was the "new thing"...but I just like it.

Last...but not least...the folks at Red Hill Cutlery do a great job for their customers! If you haven't bought from them, you ought to give them a try!

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
