Jan - The one on the left is for a candle. I am giving this one to some friends (they don't know about it yet). It is made from ash, walnut and osage orange (just some pcs. I had laying around). The other two are fro two different guys who wanted shaving bowls. The one in the middle is walnut with small  slivers of ash ( my choices of wood). The last one is ash. I traded this one for some knives. I gave the customer some choices of woods and ash is what he picked.

Jeremy,

Some wonderful styles going on there.  Do the folks that are getting them have a specific need for the different styles?

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
