nice !!  fontenille - pataud  !!   handmade by gilles !!  here in europe we love the French for these guys...  must be a few years old ??  i know they make the "rondinara"  with ramhorn  ( also a classic from the isle of Corsica)

expensive stuff but very well made !!  you must be a proud owner rino..... i think they are rare in the states ??

i have a "sport"  ( also fontenille ) in ram...  careful with cleaning cos it hates  (hot) water   :-)

I've seen these and love the pattern, you have a beautiful knife. But as with any Euro made knife, my hope lies with the secondary market over here...lol.

Nice character in the ram horn.

Do you have many French blades in your collection ?

I really like the placement of that nail notch. It actually gives the user leverage when deploying the blade. Although, with as much blade as is exposed on this knife, I suppose that you could employ a thumb and finger grasp and open it much like an easy opener anyway?

I love that saddle-horn handle - It's almost a pistol grip.

Did you made this knife, Rino? Kudos if you did. And if you didn't make it but own it...Kudos there, too!
