yes they are blanks i am just a beginner i am not good enough to make my own blades yet but i would like to.for right now i need to learn all the basics and go from there.if it was not for this site i would of never got started,i want to thank the people on this site for helping me get started.i did not know anything about knife building until the people  on this site helped me.and i still have got a lot to learn...

Will you be building handles on a blank again? Or going full out and making the blade as well.

 

b.t.w. I didn't mean to say that the square handles were uncomfortable. Just that they might be. Some people like em that way. Just look at E.S.E.E. knives. They're all quite square.

thanks guys i will try to round off more on my next ones put these feel pretty good in the hand i was thinking of doing a bit lager knife for my next one...any suggestions welcome...

Pretty wood. I noticed you made two identical blades. Did you just do the scales this time or simply make two blades?

For the next one see if you'd want to make the handles a little more rounded. I made my first one really square and it was quite uncomfortable (not saying yours is). Afterwards I smoothed down the edges a bit more and it made all the difference.
