This is one of those knives that I bought because it caught my eye back when I was a casual collector.  It wasn't an expensive knife.  Even though it was made in China, I like the flag on it.  I have no idea about the steel other than it is stainless.  I have never used it but just handling it I can see that you would never lose your grip on it.
