Tyson- yeah, I know what you mean about getting side tracked with all the great photos loaded up here. iKC runs the gamete- from new tactical to high art customs- to my favorite, really old American-made knives. You are welcome to look around here all you want. Please feel free to ask any questions too.

Gary- Case Brothers started manufacturing knives around 1900 and continued until either 1914/15. My research is I track sales of the knife I collect- which as you can tell are toenails. I don't put a lot of stock in "price guides" as soon try to lead the market, others are out of touch with toenail values. I get to know the dealers who sell old knives and watch auctions (online or live). This knife is probably worth $1500 to a collector.

Scott,
How old is this knife? What is it worth and how do you research knife values?

Thanks Scott, I posted pics of my labor day project, but you got me side tracked checking out your amazing toenails. Glad this is knife community so people know what I'm talkin about, sounds kinda funny... I think I'll hang around and look at more.
