After years of the Barehead Slimline Trapper being my favorite Case knife, I've switched; the Trapper Lock is now my favorite Case knife. I just love the mix of very traditional "old school" single blade trapper design with the integration of a liner lock and thumb stud. At first, I have to admit that I found the blade grind to be a bit odd...but after having had a few of these knives, I now like it...a lot.

The version shown in this photo is a Pocket Worn "Old Red". It's a tremendously nice knife...and I find the "pocket worn" treatment to be the best of the Case knives that I've owned. I just wish that Case would pin their shields. Yeah...I've got Case knives that I've had for years...and the shields are glued on. In fact, I've never had a glued-on shield come off...on any knife. I'd just prefer that it were pinned.
