The  CASE XX with the U.S.A. is from 1965- 1969

if you go back to your post about both knives I posted a pic there that will help with ID ing the years for others also , you know the post about your two knives the Trapper and the Doc you have here!

Here are the blade tang markings. as you can see the 3185 is nearly completely worn off.

Sure would like to see the tang markings on this oldie! Case will rehandle that for a small fee. They'd probably clean it up like new also. You have to talk to them but it isn't that expensive, really!
