Canal Street Cutlery definitely makes some of the nicest knives in the world. The knife shown in this particular photo happens to be one of my favorite blades of all time. This what they call the "Pinch". In other words, it's a small lock-back knife. This particular one...run for "Founder's Day", features mind-blowing beautiful Mahogany Buffalo Horn scales and a perfectly polished D2 blade. The action on this knife is silky-smooth. Literally, this is one of the most magnificient knives it's ever been my pleasure to hold.

Chris,

The Pinch Lock Back is my favorite pattern from Canal Street Cutlery! I have at least one of every Pinch they have put out....
I also have a 36 knife set that I have put together of the Pinch Lock Backs. There are 12 different Pinches with varying handle material, then I have each knife with a clean smooth bolster, each knife with the factory engraved bolster and finally each knife with the Burl engraved bolsters. I am still struggling with the right idea for displaying them. I currently have them in a Jewelry Spinner case, however, I am toying with a custom made wagon wheel type hanging display.
I love those Pinch Lock Backs....I have even been fortunate to gather up a few of the PROTOTYPE Pinches.
