I use Mother's Billett to clean metals. Honestly, after the year of sitting in wet plastic sacks, the metals were scary. I was just determaned to bring these back. That's how I discovered the Mother's product after Flitz, Stanley and several others. It has a grit that's not abrasive enough to harm pollished steel but enough to recover pop marks on other older blades. It kicks but on bolsters scratched by carry or long term dry wipes.
