NICE!
Always accept free knives! Haha...
My boss brought in a 1980 6225 1/2 Appaloosa Rose bone knife he found in box while moving last night. Of course he brought it to the only knife-nut he knows. The Main blade had a really nice dark Patina to it, the secondary blade just had some rust. Since he is not a collector, I removed the rust from the secondary blade, buffed the bolsters and scales then finished with touching up the edges and oiling the joints. He seemed very pleased with his find. But, I thought these knives used stainless blades, how did the main blade get such a nice nearly black patina?
I used to have a lot of those older Cases many years ago. They're fantastic!
These ol' Case knives from 65-about mid to late 70's are some of the best ever manufactured IMO. I might be in the majority with that said, but the old redbone and pretty bone are just amazing to the eye!
Wow, Sue is gong to be your friend! LOL!
