Love the Barn Doors. I remember the blue Royal type when stopping at a store on the way home from grammar school in the 1950s. The knives have Bo-Shield protection for preventing rust. Bo-Shield was developed by Boeing; it is use on bicycle chains.I put labels on most knives so I do not mark them from repeated opening and closing.
