Reproduction stamp .. made in Germany at Freidrich Olbertz

Wade & Butcher stamping on a Jim Parker reproduction. PKCS usually stamped their repros w/ a production date. I've read .. Jim Parker was pretty adamant about that .. identifying reproductions as reproductions !!

But .. I purchased this in 1995 .. 95 is XCV .. not sure how "XCD" correlates w/ 1995 .. XC = 90 .. but, D = 500 ??? I always figured somebody just skipped that day in school ..

?? maybe ?? I have a unique oddity here ???

Note: ALL the Bulldog, Case, & reproductions I sourced new from PKCS have a production code stamped on the tang.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
