Th following things still need to happen to it:

  • Round off the corners on the scales
  • Clean the heat treatment gunk off the blade.
  • Glue and peen the pins
  • polish the handle
  • make a sheath
  • sharpen edge
  • put my name on it

And after that it'll be good to go Rob. I think you'll get a kick out of this blade It really fills the hand quite nicely, the coffin grip is a lot more comfy than I thought it would be and the grind is nice and thin (just like I believe a custom knife should be) so that you'll have an easy time keeping it sharp and slicing through all those swamp critters.

At first I wasn't entirely convinced by the design but it's won me over and I quite like it now. I think I'll make another one sometime in the future. I save the drawing for it after all ;-)
