he he....don't know if the steel is a bit soft or not - but it makes splitting limbs for tinder real easy! Does a pretty mean job on brisket too! :-D
Just noticed that 440A steel. Is that steel a bit soft? Might take an edge real nice and easy but it seems it would dull quickly. Not much carbon in that alloy. Only .6 to .75% if I am remembering my alloys correctly.
I generally try to deal with steels that have a minimum of .85-.9%. 1% is my sweet spot. :D
But dang, it looks good.
