Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Just as each of us is a unique individual, so our tastes in things tends to vary as well. Allen Elishewitz's designs are tremendously compelling...in particular, I find the Anubis concept almost magnetic in it's appeal. Fortunately, Allen teamed up with CRKT and made the Anubis very affordable; I just had to have a couple in my collection. The one shown in this photo is the original CRKT Anubis. You'll notice that the handle has contrasting colors of black and gray. This combination is very attractive in a rather subtle way. I also find that the gray in the handle ties in well with the bead-blast finish on the blade. You'll also notice the golden AE symbol on the blade; adding a nice detail touch. This particular blade features CRKT's Lawks device...and while I've never needed to use it, I'm confident that the engineering on it is quite sound. The blade shape of the Anubis is especially compelling. It is a modified drop point with just a hint of recurve. Nice! The push-button lock system is a great feature that, once you've mastered it's function, works like a champ! As always, I'm prone to give this otherwise great knife a common "CRKT" knock; the blade steel is Aus8A...which is decent, but the design deserves something "more". In any event, the Anubis largely embodies CRKT's spirit of creative design...
