Yes the coloration of that Fossil Ivory is Phenomenal. I have some pieces that range from dark coffee to black. It's from picking up the minerals in the soil during the fossilization process. And having worked as a Jeweler for 30+ years I understand the Quandary of falling in love with your work making you poor lol!

Hey Thanx!! Charles told me this was natural colors on this Tusk. I've got another one I did with the crosscut I'll have to post up. I'm also about halfway through with one right now and I'm gonna have to fight the urge to keep her!!  As a maker I have to remember the jewelers rule - don't fall in love with product you'll go broke! LOL!!
