John K-- I just rough up the bottom side and use Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy ( Use the one with a 30 minute dry time). It cleans up with denatured alcohol and is available at most hardware stores or knife supply catalogues--  I made that knife 10 or 11 years ago, and nothing has fallen off yet !!
