Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This is the 4th desk knife set that Dan has made. I missed out on the 3rd he made and he offered this one up to me before he listed it as available. I jumped on it faster than flies on a rib roast!! Both knives are made from Dan's ladder pattern Damascus. Handles are ancient artifact walrus ivory (handle on the dagger was used as fishing weight and the drop point handle was used as a hide scraping tool). Dagger blade is 5 inches and the drop point blade is 3.125 inches. Ferrules are sterling silver and other fittings are nickel silver. Knives are presented in a brass holder. This set looks great on my computer desk!!

Thanks.  What I really like is the fact that the walrus was used as tools before finding a new home as handles for these knives!  While not really clearly pictured in my photos, Dan left the holes where the fishing line would be attached on the handle of the dagger.  Neat knives and even a neater piece of history!
