Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Cattaraugus is known for producing four things. The 225Q (military applications), Folders, Straight Razors, and household cutlery. I have not been able to find much information at all regarding the non-225Q fixed blade knives that were produced.
I found this knife and was quite taken by its aesthetic appeal for me. When it arrived, it was a little smaller than I had expected, but still feels good in the hand and is a nice size for hunting and skinning.

Here is an overall view of the knife.
The blade is 4 13/16" long; OAL = 8 3/4" long

The handle looks to be stacked plastic spacers with a few (5) thin brass accent spacers. Aluminum pommel with an aluminum pommel nut to keep the handle tight.
