Really reaching back into the archives on this one, but, darn! this is one gorgeous sexy knife! I would love to see and hear what this stunning steel specimen is up to these days! Halicon, are you still with us? How about an update on how this baby is doing??? Please!!!

Thanks Jackie, This is the prototype. Its been tested and the performance is as to be expected. Awesome!
Its been used to chop wood and clear branches to make a shelter. split wood, and then prep the food for the fire! And has handled it all with ease! :)

I figure it's a responsibility of mine now to show it in it's polished state. Just pray for a safe passage through the Swedish customs!
Randy, I will put a mirror 1k grit polish on this beast. It is a perfect hybrid edge between whacking at hard, scandinavian woods and food preparations and other small tasks in the camp. We could go to the .4 micron edge, but hey, that's what the Abalone knife is for!
