Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

After years of admiring Bob Dozier's work from "afar", I've finally acquired the real deal; a Dozier Hunter in D2 with polished Red Micarta handle scales. I find it somewhat interesting that it seems as if Mr. Dozier is best known for his prevailing use of D2. What draws me to his knives are the smooth, flowing lines of Dozier designs. They are beautiful in an extreme sense. His knives eschew popular ornamentation and trendy aspects. Simple and brilliantly clean, Dozier knives portray an extraordinarily powerful connection to blade history...which he carefully combines with his own more modern style. If you haven't had one of his knives in your hands...you are missing one of the most incredible of steel experiences. As all of you collectors should know, much of the pleasure of our hobby rests in the journey itself. My particular journey has provided a fantastic reward...

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
