That is a factory test run Peter. It was great! Ever sell a knife you wish you would have kept? Anyway, the hide is from a cow elk. I have a world class elk shed horn I will share a picture of it later this week. With a knife of course. Love taking those pictures!

indeed great pic!..   is that a FACTORY TEST RUN ELK GEC i see??.. its the only knife in the pic that is ELK_i could be wrong of course_just curious. have not met anyone else with the knife and just would love to know how you like it. i have tons of GEC and its one of my favorite knives.

If you really take a close look you will see the knife at the top right has a broken blade Jan. I broke it taking the head off. Yikes!!! I am hoping to get that fixed. Next time I had better remember to use a bigger kinfe!
