Thanks, I was thinking 1960's I found a doc on the tang stamps but it is a bit confusing.

I'm no expert but i'm guessing this set is from the mid sixties. I have two sets like this and both of mine have the same tang stamp. But it wasn't unusual for Western to mix things up a bit. Its a nice set. Thor.
