 It is a knife used doing ww2 by german lufwaffe,Lever operated by pushing lever blade falls out an locks.

  and to retract hold upright push lever and blade retracts

I'm with ya on this one, Steve. I'd sure like to hear a story behind it. It looks like an out the front automatic with a long spike that folds into the handle. Deadly at either end!
