Just to show the knife, here's a borrowed image of an Alaskan "Mini" Ulu.

The Silver Leaf is sold to different companies to add their own imprint.

You keep adding on to your show necklace, you're going to need a bigger chain, Jan.  (Ace Hardware has good prices.)

Check this one out Dale.

It's kinda the step brother to this one.  It has a lock back.  The "Original" Original Pocket Ulu had a keyring  attachment and a linerlock.  Thats the one I'm searching for, but is no longer being made.

Found it, JJ.
I like them ..but.. unless there's a lock .. I need a knife purse for pocket carry .. a rubber band @ the very least.

The scalpel w/ the lock ring .. posted just above your review .. I used for a squirrel knife for a season .. wked well ..BUT.. had to cut through the wrist/ankles .. instead of just breaking them as I would w/ a regular jack knife.

It was just a bit to fragile for that .. tis back in a box since.

Good luck finding it's bigger brother !!

So what do you think of it, JJ  ???

.
I just purchased another friction folder .. VG10 core .. 33 layers either side. Haven't received it yet though.

I'd purchased the std steel unit & liked it enough to purchase the vg-10 one. Not so great for pocket carry though .. requires a rubber band.
