Actually most ring turns are doubles. You don't have to go far to learn more about these -- see here.

Cool - check out Knife World a few months back - there was an article on a pearl handled ring turn knife.  These are great conversations starters.  Nice find.

This is a terrific find!  I also have never seen a ring knife with openers at both ends.
