Mint condition Slim and long pocket knife, with a hammer and Sickle stamped into the blade. this represents the USSR. Maybe it was made in the former Soviet Union..Handle material-some sort of plastic on brass liners. I personally like the black and white stripes.

I too like the handle matl .. tis kinda unique !!!

 

Gotta beg to differ w/ ya there Max .. tis missing the flat pill-buster btm of a true Doctor's Knife.

 

I'm guessing a  melon tester / sausage tester knife .. used to pick them up in my youth .. liking the long slender blade .. then found they weren't that practical .. they tended to fold accidentally waaaay too easily !!
