The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I love the sub-hilt Bowie, so when Elk Ridge produced an affordable one, I just had to pick one up. The knife is fantastic while the accompanying canvas sheath is beyond cheesy. Actually, it's down right insulting. So I upgraded to the leather sheath I show with it. I look at it like adding custom wheels to my car...a needed delight!
Now I have an Elk Ridge sub-hilt Bowie with an attitude.

Blade Type: 440C Stainless Steel

Nice knife with a good upgrade.
That is a good looking sheath.
Thanks Tim - I get my sheaths from various leather makers on Ebay and Etsy. Every once in awhile one of them will throw some older stock out on reduced sale and I'll scoop them up if I can to use on a knife later.
One supplier I follow on Ebay is Waxinc:

These guys usually have some decent sheaths for sale at some reasonable rates.
