Great guy.   Actually he's a friend from another forum.  I had mentioned how much I like CPM-M4 blade steel several times in discussions about blade steels.  He makes knives for fun  and gifts.  Since I liked M4 and he had one already made he sent it to me.  The generosity he showed is very generous. :)  He said he heat treated it to approx 63 Rockwell.  I belive it based on how it holds an edge and when sharpening.  I have a low edge angle on the blade and it took a significant amount of time to do that.  Sorry to ramble, I just like the knife a bunch. :)
