I call it my Zouave Bowie. Shortly after finishing the project I saw a show on the History Channel about the Zouaves during the Civil War. The showed a picture of Zouave trooper with a big Scimitar Bowie tucked into the waist band of his uniform. That was inspiration enough for me. No watermelon in the world is safe from my Zouave Bowie!
