I've long had a fondness for large jack knives. In fact, it was a Tidioute Model 54 with Sandbar handle scales that got me into collecting GEC knives. The quality, fit, finish and materials used on that knife got me completely "hooked" on GEC's. Shown here is another Tidioute Model 54 from my collection. This one, produced in 2009, sports incredibly deep Midnight Blue handle scales. The scales are so dark that they look more black than blue.
