Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I have to admit that relative smallness and ultra-slim shape of the GEC model 89 didn't immediately appeal to me. On a whim, I purchased a Burnt Stag 89 and was pleasantly surprised. Since then, I've picked up multiple 89's...and the FANTASTICALLY BEAUTIFUL Smooth Calico handled version shown here may well be my favorite yet! I think that the Smooth Calico handle material may become my favorite. And...then there is the imminently useful clip blade shape.

Knives like this really keep my knife-collecting fire "lit".

Chris,

I too am hooked on that smooth calico and the 89 is a remarkable knife.  It seems small but will handle some pretty big chores
