This is a classic, albeit cheap, promotional pocket knife, which were typically given out as a marketing and promotional device. It's a stainless steel razor shaped like a knife blade that slides into the plastic handle. I originally obtained this one at the old San Jose fair grounds flea market back in 1973.

While the Gerlinger Motor Parts company itself is no longer in business, its legacy lives through this knife.

I sold this knife in January of 2015 for $10.00.
