Charles, great choice, those OmniHunters are great knives.  Those and the ErgoHunters are the best skinning knives out there.

l.lantz, thanks.  It began its life as a Boone & Crockett series, that is why it has the engraving on the blade.

I have one Buck fixed blade. It is a Buck 393 Omni Hunter. I use it field dressing my deer. It is a very good knife.
